However, time flows differently for elves, and Frieren watches as her companions succumb to mortality.
Before his passing, Heiter entrusts a young human apprentice named Fern to Frieren’s care. Driven by her desire to amass an arsenal of spells, Frieren and Fern embark on an apparently random journey, revisiting places the legendary heroes once roamed. Along the way, Frieren grapples with the remorse of missed opportunities to nurture intimate connections with her fallen comrades.
